Card Tricks For Kids
How can I set up a beauty pageant successfully?
To help raise money for an awareness program, my friend enlisted my help to set up a beauty pageant for people. (We’re both 19 yrs old.)
Does anyone know what goes on at these things? Can you tell me how many contestants we should limit it to? What do the contestants have to do (answer questions, make speeches, do card tricks…)? I think we’re keeping the age limit to 18 and over, so no kids.
How many judges should we have? What criterions to judge from?
Any feedback or suggestions would help.

The average pageant normally(as far as I know) has 4 parts: interview, beauty, sportswear, and talent. for a pageant restricted to 18 and older, i would not limit the amount of contestants who enter because #1. you want to create AWARENESS for your cause, and #2. a lot might enter, but(this was common in my area) only a few might do the whole thing… There are usual 3 judges, odd numbers are best for judging… also you might want to do categories, like: ages18-24, 25-35, 36-45, and etc; or single ladies(18-25), single women(26-39), beautiful beauties(40+), and precious moms, and glamorous grandmas… get the point?
